The AACS 2023 Annual Scientific Meeting will cover all aspects of cosmetic surgery, as usual. But today, we will highlight Session 9: Hair Restoration.
This year’s hair restoration and transplantation session is being co-Moderated by Marco Barusco, MD, FAACS, FISHRS, (USA) and Jerzy Kolasinski, MD, PhD, FISHRS, (Poland) and will take place on Thursday, February 9, 2023. The panel will have international faculty discussing the following topics:
-Mauro Speranzini, MD, FISHRS, will present a lecture discussing the many steps that are necessary for the harvesting of the perfect hair graft via FUE.
-Grace Do, MD will present a review of anesthesia techniques for the hair transplant surgeon.
-Marco Barusco, MD, FAACS, FISHRS, will present a lecture on FUE and FUT: Are they complementary or competitive?
-Jerzy Kolasinski, MD, PhD, FISHRS, will discuss the role of the FUE technique in corrective surgery.
-Timothy Carman, MD, FISHRS, will present and discuss the most common complications in hair restoration surgery.
